An Act to Amend the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act

His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Subparagraph 3(a)(ii) of the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act, chapter 127 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is repealed and the following is substituted:

( ii) is a Canadian citizen, is a permanent resident of Canada as defined in subsection 2(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) or is the holder of a work permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) authorizing the person to work in the Province, or
